January Start! Global Communication & Influence
The foundation of LeadGL Academy goes back to my time at P&G, where I worked on the development of adult diapers and felt a deep sense of mission toward “protecting human dignity.” Over more than 30 years in global companies—including assignments in the U.S. and Singapore—and through collaboration with colleagues from over 30 countries, I witnessed firsthand how differences in education shape people’s initiative, behavior, and leadership.
Watching my daughter learn in an International Baccalaureate school in Singapore—where students identify their own questions, explore proactively, and identify their path by examining global issues and history—further reinforced the transformative power of education. At the same time, serving as a career mentor for more than 200 university students in Japan made me realize how urgently Japan’s education system needs to be updated.
LeadGL was born from a mission to pass on these unique experiences to the next generation.
What we provide is learning that leads to real behavioral change, integrating English × Leadership × Intercultural Understanding.
English is not the goal—it is a tool to connect with the world.
Leadership is not for a special few—it is the ability to take the first step based on one’s own values. Intercultural understanding is an essential foundation for the society our children will enter.
For schools, our programs use English-based inquiry learning to develop entrepreneurship and help students discover their own authentic leadership.
For adults and corporate clients, we support the development of globally capable leaders who can drive international business expansion.
A future where diverse people work together will certainly come. Those who can turn differences into strengths will thrive on the global stage.
LeadGL creates a place where every learner can believe “yes, I can,” and build the power to shape their own future.
Growing up in a non-traditional family, I spent many years learning how to navigate the world and shape my own future. Education became the pathway that opened opportunities for me, and I chose to become a teacher so that I could offer students the same support and encouragement my teachers once gave me.
Now, as a mother of three, this mission has grown even stronger. I want every child to grow into a confident, happy, and capable individual who can choose their own path. After teaching for many years at universities in Japan, I have seen how much potential young people have when they are given a safe and supportive place to express themselves. Yet I have also seen how the traditional system can limit children’s voices. My own children—who grew up in Japan as foreigners—have experienced the struggle of trying to “fit in” despite being part of the community.
This is why I helped found LeadGL Academy. I wanted to build a learning environment where children can explore freely, think differently, and grow into global citizens who are ready to take on an interconnected world.
I hold a strong academic foundation in learning design, linguistics, and educational innovation, supported by diverse teaching experience across age groups and countries.

At LeadGL, my goal is to design learning experiences that are academically sound, emotionally supportive, and globally relevant. I hope to create a place where children feel seen and valued, where they build confidence in their identities, and where they learn to engage with the world with curiosity and resilience. Ultimately, I want every child to leave LeadGL believing in their own potential and feeling ready to take on the future.
