January Start! Global Communication & Influence
A diverse group of professionals, each bringing their own expertise and leadership, work together to realize LeadGL’s Purpose and Vision.
We develop globally collaborative Japanese talent through an original model that integrates English, leadership, and intercultural understanding. Our goal is not simply to increase the number of people who “can speak English,” but to cultivate individuals who can collaborate, make decisions, and create value—even in English-speaking and multicultural environments.
Japan’s demographic decline, the increase of foreign workers, rapid workplace diversification, and the acceleration of the AI era have fundamentally changed what companies need from their people. Today, the critical capability is the ability to adjust one’s values, make sound judgments, act proactively, and co-create value with others across cultures. Traditional language schools or business training cannot reach this level of transformation. LeadGL’s role is to bridge that gap.
Our strongest differentiator is that we treat English as a tool to connect with the world, while simultaneously developing leadership and intercultural competence. These are foundational abilities for achieving results in multicultural environments and form the basis of our educational model designed to drive behavioral change, not merely skills acquisition.
My 30+ years in global companies, my experience of leading multinational teams in the U.S. and Singapore, my personal journey from zero English ability into the global business world, and the insights gained from working with colleagues across 30 countries—all serve as key assets in building and scaling this model.
Understanding both Japanese and global workplace cultures and education system from the inside adds further credibility to LeadGL’s approach.
For Japan to maintain its presence in the international community, developing leaders who can build trust and co-create value in diverse environments is essential. LeadGL aims to build the educational infrastructure needed to make this possible and deliver lasting social impact for the next generation.
