Toshi brings over 30 years of R&D experience, specializing in chemistry and the development of a wide range of technologies and products. His work spans from innovations in polycarbonate resin, to the creation of disposable absorbent paper and hair care products at P&G.

He has also contributed to the academic sphere, authoring a book chapter on cosmetic science & technology. His leadership experience is equally extensive, having guided multinational teams for over three decades. This includes significant roles spanning eleven years across the United States and Singapore. Most recently, Toshi served for 2.5 years as the Head of Marketing and Application Technology Development Group at BASF. He was also an orchestra conductor for over 20 years, and has experience in co-founding and serving as the first CEO of a non-profit organization.
Personal mission: My mission is to harness my experience to nurture the next generation of leaders in Japan and Asia who will contribute to the advancement of global peace and prosperity through science, innovation, business, and social reform.

Since 2017, she has been teaching at various universities and institutions across the Kanto area. Her doctoral dissertation focuses on the incorporation of 21st-century skills in English education in Japan. She has also contributed to the professional development of language educators on a global scale, giving presentations and workshops on a wide range of topics at international conferences across the United States, Japan, South Korea, Cambodia, Thailand, and Peru. Becky's role as a mother of three children in the Japanese public school system has sparked her passion to create high-quality English education for all children across Japan.

Makoto brings over 20 years of diversified experience at various companies including Fortune 500 company Bridgestone. His leadership roles have included CFO and GM. Most recently, he began his own company after graduating with an MBA.

Makoto has also extended his financial expertise to various other companies. Aside from the corporate realm, Makoto’s experience raising Japanese children within the Japan educational system has given him a deep commitment to changing the traditional way of thinking that cram schools and entrance exams are the best path for a successful future.
Personal mission: My mission is to help children develop the ability to think for themselves and create their own future despite the challenges of the current Japanese education system.
